Katherine Kosiv is an Assistant Professor of Pediatric Cardiology and Associate Director of Fetal Cardiology at Yale University. As a clinician, she diagnoses cardiac disease in the fetus and provides perinatal management and counseling. In her research, she leverages ultrasound techniques including cardiac strain to understand fetal heart mechanics and its adaptation to various disease states, such as fetal growth restriction and congenital heart disease. She hopes to uncover changes in cardiac adaptation that will guide perinatal management and improve postnatal outcomes.
