Dr. Cosimo Marco Campanale has completed his degree in Medicine and Surgery in 2010 and his postdoctoral studies in Cardiology in 2016 at “Campus Bio-Medico” University in Rome. He has completed his research fellowship in “Advanced Cardiac Imaging” in 2016 at Boston Children’s Hospital /Harvard Medical School where he studied the microstructure of abnormal hearts through diffusion magnetic resonance. In collaboration with “Campus Bio-Medico” University in Rome he has applied a mathematic model to compare the function of normal versus abnormal hearts. He has published more than 18 papers in reputed journals and is now a Perinatal Cardiologist at “Bambino Gesù” Hospital in Rome. His active research activity is focus on cardiac imaging, artificial intelligence, vascular anomalies and fetal cardiology.
