Elizabeth Vitaro, B.A., is a Senior Research Coordinator at Columbia Irving Medical Center, heading the Preterm Birth Prevention Center research focused on understanding the causes and prevention of preterm birth. With over five years of experience, she previously worked on the ELGAN-ECHO study at Tufts Medical Center, studying the long-term effects of preterm birth. She is currently pursuing a Master of Biomedical Science at Rutgers School of Graduate Studies. She aims to attend medical school to continue her research and improve health outcomes for children and mothers, bridging the gap between clinical practice and research.
