Camila Rivera-Lynch, MD, is a fourth year Obstetrics and Gynecology resident at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine. Born in New York City but raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, she has dedicated her medical career to serving the people of her home. She recieved her bachelor's degree from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts and her medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico. She is now completing her residency training at the University of Puerto Rico.
Upon graduating from medical school, Camila knew she wanted to focus her practice on high risk pregnancies. She is currently in her fourth and final year of OBGYN residency training. After residency, Camila plans to complete a fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine. Her clinical interests include maternal- fetal medicine, genetics and addressing the social determinants of health that impact pregnancy outcomes in underserved populations.
Camila's ultimate goal is to become a Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialist and open her own practice in Puerto Rico. She is passionate about improving access to specialized prenatal care and expanding culturally competent resources for Spanish-speaking expectant mothers.
