Dr. Timothy Immonen was born July 25th, 1989, in Bellevue, Nebraska. He completed his undergraduate education at Nebraska Wesleyan University where he also competed in football, earning a letter in three consecutive years. He matriculated into medical school in 2013 at the Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Spartanburg, South Carolina. He then went on to complete his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at SSM Health Oklahoma City where he served as chief resident his graduating year. He then began his Maternal Fetal Medicine fellowship at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. He graduates today with a job secured at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. Aside from his role in women’s health care, Dr. Immonen is a dedicated husband to Hope and father to Faith. Dr. Immonen is also a proud parent of two dogs. Outside of his family Dr. Immonen enjoys being outside and has several hobbies including bowling and golf. Dr. Immonen’s dedication to the field of obstetrics and maternal fetal medicine is evident by his hard work and dedication. He has been the first author on three peer-reviewed publications all during his fellowship training. With his outstanding passion for caring for patients, we are confident that Dr. Immonen will continue to make a significant difference in the lives of both his patients and their unborn children.
