Margaret R. Chou, MD, FACOG is Division Chief of Obstetrics at Nemours Children's Health, Delaware Valley, and is Obstetrics Medical Director of the Nemours Advanced Delivery Program, which delivers babies with congenital conditions anticipated to require critical care, ECMO, postnatal surgery, subspecialty care, subspecialty imaging, or other interventions.
Dr. Chou serves on numerous professional committees and holds leadership and board positions related to her health expertise and community service. Dr. Chou’s involvement in these organizations gives her the opportunity to advocate for her patients, working with state and federal legislators toward improvements in systems and laws in the areas of reproductive justice, maternal mortality, healthcare inequity and access to care. Dr. Chou is also passionate about medical student and resident education and is honored to contribute to the education of the next generation of the profession at Nemours Children’s Health and at ChristianaCare in Newark, Delaware.
Dr. Chou earned her undergraduate degree at Harvard University and her medical degree from New York University Grossman School of Medicine. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Stanford Health Care in California. Dr. Chou is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is an active Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (FACOG). She speaks English and Mandarin.
