Milica Miljkovic-Trailovic gratuated at Faculty of Pharmacy, study program pharmacy-medical biochemist in 2010. PhD thesis titled “Oxidative-stress status in blood and lipoprotein fractions in patients with chronic kidney disease” she completed in 2018, at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Belgrade. She finished Specialist academic studies - Biochemical diagnostics at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Belgrade, Serbia in 2020.Curently, she is at the Specialist studies required by healthcare system- Medical biochemistry.
Milica is employed at Department of Medical Biochemistry - Faculty of Pharmacy since 2014, first as a teaching associate, then as a teaching assistant (2016) and from 2020 she is in title assistant with PhD.
Within the scientific activities, she has participated in various studies related to the field of medical biochemistry, especially analyzing oxidative stress and lipid profile in different diseases. As an author and/or co-author she has published a total of 42 scientific papers and 45 presentations at international and national conferences. These works have been cited 587 times according to the reference index base Scopus, h-index is 15.
She collaborated on the national project "Interactive role of dyslipidemia, oxidative stress and inflammation in atherosclerosis and other diseases: genetic and biochemical markers" from 2011 to 2020, which was supported by the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technological Development. She has been working as a researcher on the Science Fund - Program Ideas project "HIgh-density lipoprotein MetabolOMe research to improve pregnancy outcome (HI-MOM)" since 2023.She has been appointed as a member of the data management team for the international project HORIZON-MSCA: "Comprehensive and personalized assessment of acute coronary syndrome by multiomic approach and artificial intelligence strategy - CardioSCOPE. She took part in seven international COST projects from 2011 to 2024. Milica Miljković Trailović was elected to the position of scientific associate in 2023.
