Jenifer A. Akinduro, M.D., M.S is a third-year obstetrics & gynecology resident at Indiana University. She attended the University of Maryland, College Park for her undergraduate studies, earning degrees in the biological sciences and Spanish language. After completing her undergraduate education, Dr. Akinduro worked in hospitals for 2+ years gaining clinical exposure and patient care experience. She then undertook graduate studies at Georgetown University in Washington DC. She later completed medical studies at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. She will be applying to Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship this year where she hopes to continue exploring her interests in global health, hypertensive disorders or pregnancy, and health policy.
