Consultant Obstetrics and Gynecology
Vall d'Hebron University Hospital, Spain
Since 2017, I am responsible of the Placental Insufficiency Unit of the Vall d'Hebron Hospital, although since 2015 I have been part of it. Previously I had been researcher in the Preterm Prevention Unit where I was able to collaborate on several research projects. During 2013-2014 I had a training stay at the CHU Brugmann in Brussels to complement the training in this field. The work done in preventing preterm birth with cervical pessaries led to the completion of the doctoral thesis at the UAB. Since 2013, I have collaborated as a teacher in the various Maternal-Fetal Medicine courses organized by the Obstetrics service of the Vall d'Hebron Hospital, including the biannual course of Placental Insufficiency. Since 2017 I am a member of the Maternal and Fetal Medicine section of the Catalan Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology where we work to improve the maternal and fetal health of pregnant women.
