Martin Hund, PhD, Director, Clinical Development Lead and Indication Lead, works for Roche Diagnostics International Ltd based in Rotkreuz, Switzerland.
Martin Hund assumed the role of Global Clinical Leader for Women’s Health in Medical & Scientific Affairs in October 2009. He develops the clinical strategy in Women’s Health driving the Medical Value development of the preeclampsia sFlt-1/PlGF test and the first serum companion diagnostic Elecsys AMH Plus, endometriosis and Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS).
Martin joined Roche Diagnostics International in Rotkreuz as Global Medical Leader in 2009. Prior to Roche, he worked at Organon Switzerland as Medical Director and at Schering-Plough Switzerland (now MSD Merck Sharp & Dohme) as Senior Medical Advisor.
Martin studied biochemistry at the University of Tübingen, Germany and at the Ludwig-Maximilians University Munich, Germany. He did his PhD thesis in molecular neurobiology at the Friedrich Miescher Institute for Biomedical Research (FMI) in Basel, Switzerland. He completed his postgraduate training at the European Center of Pharmaceutical Medicine ECPM in Basel obtaining the Diploma of Advanced Studies in Pharmaceutical Medicine.
